The Rio Grande also known as the Rio Bravo del Norte (in Mexico ) flows 1885 miles and begins its journey from the Sangre de Cristo mountain range in southern Colorado, providing watershed for New Mexico, and then following the border between Texas & Mexico until finding its way into the Gulf of Mexico.
